De Tel Aviv à Athènes / From Tel Aviv to Athens

Le Xè Congrès de la NLS s’est clôturé ce dimanche à Tel Aviv par
un remarquable exposé d’Eric Laurent, devant 340 collègues heureux
d’avoir participer à ce moment important pour la psychanalyse au sein de
l’Eurofédération et de l’AMP. La superbe affiche composée par nos hôtes
reprenait trois lettres extraites du titre en trois langues, une
hébraïque et deux latines au côté d’une œuvre de Moshe Kupferman, autant
de marques énigmatiques invitant à lire l’unheimlich, le Un
familier et pourtant si extime du symptôme, tel que l’a détaillé Claudia
Iddan, cheville ouvrière de ce congrès, sous la direction de la
présidente de la NLS Anne Lysy qui dès l’ouverture indiquait que dans la
lettre nous allions deux jours durant rencontrer, non pas l’être mais
le réel.
L’être de notre jeune école était pourtant bien présent dans ce
Congrès. Le nombre important de participants, l’accueil si chaleureux et
enthousiaste de nos amis israéliens, les à-côtés du congrès –
réception, fête, implications des traducteurs, librairie, visite
organisée de Tel Aviv – qui témoignent de l’affectio-societatis
particulier à la NLS ont fait de ce congrès un événement de corps. Ceux
qui y sont venus en ont été marqués et reviendront, ceux qui n’ont pu
s’y rendre ne manqueront pas de fêter avec nous les 10 ans de la NLS à
Athènes les 18 et 19 mai 2013.
Cohérent avec la politique du symptôme, le congrès s’est ouvert
et refermé sur deux travaux, celui de Claudia Iddan et de votre
serviteur, présentant chacun un cas illustrant le triomphe du symptôme
et son pouvoir d’illecture. La pratique d’écriture d’Otto Weininger
comme la pratique de construction de centaines de maquettes d’un
analysant ne sont venues à bout de la lecture de leur symptôme. Avec
cette perspective de l’invention sinthomatique et de ses tentatives en
impasse, ce congrès nous a donnée la visée du congrès de l’EFP qui,
depuis Bruxelles, nous mènera Après l’Œdipe à l’étude de la
diversité des pratiques psychanalytiques en Europe, avant le congrès de
l’AMP à Paris annonçant Un grand désordre dans le réel au XXIè siècle.
Car « au-delà de l’Œdipe, n’entrent pas les Noms-du-Père, ni La
femme, ni l’homme masqué. Il n’entre au-delà de l’oedipe, savants,
héros, que des victimes, que des vaincus »[1] . Nos héros sont ceux qui
ont rendu les armes devant leur symptôme, l’ayant assoiffé du sens pour
qu’il n’en reste que l’os sinthomatique. L’incroyable après-midi des AE
fut à ce titre le grand moment du congrès, par la grâce d’Anne Lysy qui
a fait entrer la passe dans la NLS. Eric Laurent nous a offert un
prodigieux commentaire à partir des témoignages de Sonia Chiriaco, Paola
Bolgiani et Leornado Gorostiza. E. Laurent concluait avoir été sensible
à ceci que si dans l’exposé des sujets féminins on voit apparaître une
confrontation avec la mort, les sujets masculins font, eux, apparaître
la tentation de s’identifier à leur destin. Et c’est autre chose
disait-t-il de s’identifier à son destin que de consentir à la valeur de
jouissance contenue dans le « se faire ». Au contraire, consentir à
cette répétition, c’est aussi bien une porte d’entrée pour refuser le
destin imposé.
Des hommes et des femmes qui se rencontrent ou ne se rencontrent
pas, le ravage de l’un ou le symptôme de l’autre, de tout cela il fut
beaucoup question durant ce congrès. Pierre Naveau a porté l’accent sur
l’homme qui a la parole qui blesse et qui du coup, vis-à-vis d’une
femme, prend la place de la mère. L’événement de corps est avant tout un
événement de discours, un dit qui claque comme un gifle, un
rougissement rugissant : la jouissance est quelque chose qui s’entend !
Séparé S1 de S2, sevrer le sens, viser le réel : l’analyste était à
l’heure du symptôme à Tel Aviv, pour reprendre l’heureuse expression de
Carmen Cuñat, présidente de l’ELP. Les présidents de l'EFP étaient
d'ailleurs tous présents : Jean-Daniel Matet (ECF), Paola Francesconi
(SLP), Gil Caroz (EFP) ainsi que le Président de l'AMP, Leonardo
Gorostiza et la Présidente du Champ freudien Judith Miller.
Le Congrès s’est achevé sur une brillante intervention d’Eric
Laurent qui orientera notre travail de l’année prochaine vers Athènes
2013 ! Son texte sera diffusé dès transcription et relecture de

The 10th Congress of the NLS concluded this Sunday in Tel-Aviv
with a remarkable presentation by Eric Laurent, in front of 340
colleagues happy to participate in this important moment for
psychoanalysis within the Eurofederation and the WAP. The superb poster
made by our hosts took up three letters extracted from the title in
three languages, one Hebrew and two Latin, beside an art work by Moshe
Kupferman, containing so many enigmatic markings, inviting us to read
the Unheimlich, the familiar, yet so extimate, One of the
symptom. This was presented in detail by Claudia Iddan, backbone of this
Congress, under the direction of the NLS President Anne Lysy, who –
from the start - indicated that in the letter we were going to find, in
these two days, not Being but the Real.
The being of our young School was nevertheless very present at
this Congress. The large number of participants, the enthusiastic and
warm welcome of our Israeli friends, the extras of the Congress
-reception, dinner party, translations, bookshop, guided tour of
Tel-Aviv - which bear witness to the particular affectio-societatis
of the NLS, made of this Congress a body event. Those who came to it
were marked and will return; those who could not attend will surely
celebrate with us the 10th anniversary of the NLS in Athens on 18 and19
May 2013.
Consistent with the politics of the symptom, the Congress opened
and closed with two papers, that of Claudia Iddan and that of your’s
truly, each one presenting a case that illustrated the triumph of the
symptom and its power of illegibility [illecture]. Otto
Weininger's writing practice as well as an analysand's practice of
building hundreds of models, did not come to the end of the reading of
their symptom. With this perspective of the sinthomatic invention and
their attempts in deadlock, this Congress put us in sight of the EFP
Congress, which, from Brussels, will take us After Oedipus to the
study of the diversity of psychoanalytic practices in Europe, before
the WAP Congress in Paris, which announces a great disorder in the Real
of the 21st Century.
For "beyond the Oedipus, are not the Names-of-the-Father,
neither The woman, nor the masked man. Beyond the Oedipus are no wise
men or heroes, only victims, the defeated”[i]. Our heroes are those
who surrendered before their symptom, having parched it of meaning so
that only the sinthomatic bone remains of it. The incredible afternoon
of the AS (Analysts of the School) was in this respect the
highlight of this Congress, thanks to Anne Lysy who brought the Pass to
the NLS. Eric Laurent gave us a wonderful comment of the testimonies of
Sonia Chiriaco, Paola Bolgiani and Leonardo Gorostiza. E. Laurent
concluded, being sensitive to the fact that if in the feminine subjects'
presentation one sees a confrontation with death appear, the masculine
subjects make appear the attempt at identifying with their destiny. It
is different, he said, to identify with ones destiny, than to consent to
the value of jouissance contained in the "to make oneself" [se faire]. On the contrary, to consent to this repetition, is also a gateway to refuse the imposed destiny.
Men and women who meet or not, the ravage of one or the symptom
of another, all of this produced many questions during this Congress.
Pierre Naveau put the emphasis on the man who has the speech that wounds
and who, to boot, vis-à-vis a woman, takes the place of the mother. The
body event is primarily an event of language (discours), a said
that hits like a slap, a roaring blushing: jouissance is something that
is heard! To separate S1 from S2, to sever meaning, to aim at the Real:
the analyst was right in time with the symptom in Tel-Aviv, to use the
felicitous expression of Carmen Cuñat, president of the ELP. The
presidents of the EFP were also all present: Jean-Daniel Matet (ECF),
Paola Francesconi (SLP), Gil Caroz (EFP) as well as the President of the
WAP, Leonardo Gorostiza and the President of the Freudian Field Judith
Miller.
The Congress ended with a brilliant intervention by Eric Laurent
that will orientate our work next year towards Athens 2013! His text
will be circulated after its transcription and proofreading by the
author. I leave you the surprise of its reading !
